Apparently One Ball Isn't Enough Anymore
πΎ CALLED, CHOSEN & SLIGHTLY CHAOTIC πΎ
Life with Hershey, RaeRae, and me!
Hershey has become absolutely OBSESSED with playing ball.
And I mean OBSESSED. π
Weβve played fetch forever, but apparently regular fetch is no longer challenging enough for him.
Now he brings me TWO balls.
Not one.
TWO.
And then he stands there staring at me like this is completely normal and I should obviously know what he expects me to do.
Excuse me, sir...
WHAT EXACTLY AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH TWO BALLS?! π
Do I throw one?
Do I throw both?
Do I pick his favorite?
Am I supposed to juggle them first?!
Apparently fetch has advanced to Level 2 and nobody gave Mama the instruction manual. π€£
So I throw them.
And off he goes!
Then he comes running back ready to do the whole thing all over again.
And again.
And again.
Meanwhile RaeRae is probably somewhere watching this entire operation thinking...
βDogs.β π
But watching Hershey get THAT excited over something as simple as a couple of old tennis balls reminds me of something.
We really can find joy in simple things.
We donβt always need something new, expensive, complicated, or spectacular to enjoy the life God has given us.
Sometimes happiness looks like two beat-up tennis balls and somebody willing to throw them down the hallway one more time.
β€οΈ TODAYβS MESSAGE:
Donβt become so busy looking for the next big thing that you miss the simple gifts God has already placed right in front of you.
π βThis is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.β
β Psalm 118:24
And apparently Hershey plans on rejoicing with TWO balls. π
