Can You See Me Now? 😂

Life with Hershey, RaeRae, and me!

RaeRae LOVES her cat tree.

But apparently just sitting on it like a normal cat is not nearly entertaining enough. 😂

She likes to climb all the way up, duck down behind the edge, and leave just enough of her little face showing so she can watch everything going on below.

I looked over and there she was...

Two ears.

One eye.

And a little face that seemed to be saying...

“Can you see me now?” 😂

Meanwhile Hershey is looking up at her like...

“What are you DOING up there?”

I don’t think he understands why anyone would voluntarily climb that high when there is a perfectly good floor right underneath her. 🤣

But RaeRae knows exactly what she’s doing.

From her little penthouse she can see everything.

She can watch Hershey.

She can watch me.

She can hide.

And apparently she can silently judge everything happening beneath her. 😂

But watching her peek out from her hiding place reminded me of something much deeper.

Sometimes WE feel hidden too.

There are places in our hearts nobody else can see.

Things we’re carrying that nobody knows about.

Times when we wonder whether anybody notices what we’re going through.

But there is nowhere we can go where God does not see us.

And that isn’t something scary.

It is comforting.

He sees us when we are celebrating.

He sees us when we are hurting.

He sees us when we feel overlooked.

He sees us when nobody else seems to notice.

And He knows exactly where we are.

So yes, RaeRae...

I can see you. 😂

But even more importantly, God sees every one of us.
