Welcome to the Journey

Welcome to the Journey

For a long time, God has placed a message in my heart: awakening comes before revival.

Before we can truly carry what God wants to pour out, we have to know who we are in Christ, understand our purpose, learn how to walk together, and become willing to be transformed.

That is really the heart behind everything I write, teach, sing, and build.

I’m Cynthia Prather—author, discipleship pastor, worship leader, speaker, apostolic leader, and founder of Eagles’ Awakening. I have been ordained and licensed in ministry since 2014, and Eagles’ Awakening has been chartered since 2019.

My journey has included worship, discipleship, deliverance ministry, teaching, writing, equipping believers, and helping people discover who God created them to be. I carry an apostolic calling to help build, strengthen, equip, connect, and encourage the Body of Christ.

And I’m still learning too.

That matters to me because I never want ministry to feel like one person standing above everyone else with all the answers.

We learn together, grow together, and go together.

That has become more than a motto for Eagles’ Awakening. It reflects how I believe the Body of Christ was designed to function.

WE WERE MADE FOR MORE THAN ATTENDANCE

One of the strongest messages God has placed in me is that the Church was never meant to be reduced to a building, a weekly service, or a program.

We do not simply go to church.

We are the Church.

Every believer has a place.

Every believer has gifts.

Every believer has a calling and a purpose in the Kingdom of God.

That calling may look like preaching, teaching, worship, evangelism, business, parenting, healthcare, art, serving your community, helping a neighbor, raising a family, encouraging someone who is hurting, or simply being Jesus with skin on to the person standing in front of you.

The Kingdom is bigger than a platform.

And discipleship is bigger than sitting in a pew.

Jesus didn’t call us simply to attend.

He called us to follow Him.

WHY I WRITE

My books have grown out of the things God has taught me through Scripture, ministry, experience, questions, mistakes, healing, freedom, and years of walking with Him.

God’s Original Blueprint for His Church: Awakening, Identity, and the Restoration of God’s Design came from a desire to look again at what Jesus actually intended His Church to be.

Not another denomination.

Not another religious system.

Not another program.

A living Body.

A family.

A people who know their identity, understand their calling, walk in their gifts, love one another, make disciples, and carry the presence of God wherever they go.

The companion workbook was created to help readers do more than simply read the message. I wanted people to stop, pray, reflect, ask questions, discover their gifts and calling, and begin putting what they are learning into practice.

I have also written Aliens or Demonic Deception?, a book that takes a very different subject and looks at it through the lens of Scripture and spiritual discernment.

Even though my books cover different subjects, the heart behind them remains the same:

Know the truth.

Know who you are in Christ.

Learn to discern.

Walk in freedom.

Discover your purpose.

And keep your eyes on Jesus.

THE HEART OF EAGLES’ AWAKENING

Eagles’ Awakening was born out of a desire to see believers awakened to who they are and equipped to do what God has called them to do.

I believe God is restoring biblical discipleship, healthy five-fold ministry, covenant relationships, spiritual gifts, and a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be the Body of Christ.

The five-fold ministry was never meant to create a hierarchy of important people.

Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are given to equip the saints for the work of ministry.

That means ministry does not belong to a select few.

The Body ministers.

The Body serves.

The Body grows.

The Body goes.

That is part of the apostolic work God has placed in my heart—to help build, equip, connect, strengthen, and send people into what God has called them to do.

WHAT YOU’LL FIND HERE

This blog will be a place where I can share more personally than I sometimes can in a book.

I’ll be writing about discipleship, identity in Christ, worship, spiritual gifts, the five-fold ministry, deliverance, healing, relationships, covenant friendship, awakening, Scripture, ministry, and things God is teaching me along the way.

And knowing me, there will probably be a few unexpected lessons from everyday life too.

Some posts may challenge you.

Some may encourage you.

Some may make you stop and think.

Some may simply remind you that God can meet us in very ordinary moments.

But my hope is that everything I share ultimately points you toward Jesus and helps you become more fully who He created you to be.

We are all still growing.

We are all still learning.

And none of us were meant to do this alone.

So whether you found this page through one of my books, my music, Eagles’ Awakening, ministry, or somehow just stumbled across it—welcome.

I’m glad you’re here.

Let’s learn together, grow together, and go together.
